ABOUT NIP IN THE BUD

Nip in the Bud works with mental health professionals to produce short films and fact sheets to help parents, primary school teachers and others caring for and working with children to recognise potential mental health conditions. The goal is to increase the prospects of early intervention and to reduce the risks of those conditions becoming more serious in later years.

THE BRIEF

The Nip in the Bud team were keen to expand their reach, share information about child mental health conditions and raise brand awareness through social media. They wanted to gain exposure for the work they do and connect with parents, teachers and carers. They also wanted to reach out to other children’s charities and organisations with a view of future partnerships or projects.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

We produced a monthly content plan focusing on key messages and themes that were important to the Nip in the Bud audience.

Created a wide range of content including custom visuals, written and video posts to suite each social platform.

Connected with other mental health organisations and education bodies to grow the Nip in the Bud online community.

Provided regular reports and updates to the team to track and monitor performance.

HOW WE DID IT

We created a monthly social media schedule that include weekly posts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. We wrote content in advance of the upcoming month and source/design images to accompany each post. Then, we shared the proposed copy with Nip in the Bud for approval. Finally, we schedule posts with our social media platform so we have access to detailed analytics and performance statistics. We monitor relevant posts on and re-share relevant content.
