The Brief

We began working with the Niarra team at the start of 2024, with the task of rapidly boosting their organic rankings as close to the industry leaders as possible.

By incorporating purposeful content creation, meaningful backlink sourcing and purposeful on-site optimisation, we were asked to increase the website’s overall SERP positioning and general organic presence.

How we did it

In-Depth Competitor Research

As the focus of our work concerned matching up with industry leaders, we based the foundation off our strategy on their historically high performing keywords. From this we were able to decipher a tier system for our target keywords, with destination-specific terms being of the highest priority.

Strategic Content Creation

Our content strategy was built around creating eight pieces of blog content per month ourselves, as well as informing topics for eight topics to be drafted internally. Researching these topics was structured around positioning Niarra as a voice of authority in particular areas, namely luxury African safari travel.

Relevant Backlink Sourcing

In order to help boost Niarra’s organic rankings in a more efficient manner, backlinking formed a central part off our SEO strategy. Ensuring that the links were sourced from industry-relevant websites, we secured references from travel-themed websites with a 40+ Domain Authority score.

Essential On-Site Optimisation

Before implementing the SEO strategy that we had set in place, we conducted a thorough audit of the Niarra website. After identifying the on-site issues we methodically rectified all that was affecting the site’s capabilities – a procedure that we would repeat every month.
